The Black & Decker Kettle looks a lot like a stove-top kettle with its dome design, rounded handle, and pouring spout. The difference is that this unit has its own fast-heating element that heats water in less than half the time of a stove-top kettle. A built-in whistle sounds when water has reached the boiling point. Other features include a safety thermostat that shuts the unit off if the kettle is empty.
